Laura and Steph met many years ago as freshman at Stephens College. They dreamed of what they could build together. Studio 6 a boutique studio in downtown Hopkins was built out of a mutual love for movement and helping clients feel better and stronger in their own bodies. Studio 6 is a hub of movement from Pilates and GYROTONIC® to Yoga, TRX and foam rolling. They hope their studio is a place in the Twin Cities where everyone is welcome and they can help you to grow no matter where you are starting.

LAURA AMIS

 Laura is a certified STOTT Pilates,  GYROTONIC®  Method, 200hr RYT yoga, Total Barre, & TRX instructor. She first found, and fell in love with Pilates while earning a BFA in Dance at Stephens College. Pilates became an integral part of her recovery after a back injury. She is passionate about helping her clients feel their best.  When she isn't in the studio she enjoys going on walks with her husband and 2 daughters, traveling & reading.

STEPHANIE SCOTT

 Stephanie has a passion for helping people feel better and encouraging them to the next level, no matter where they are starting. She is comprehensively certified in Pilates through Balanced Body University and  GYROTONIC®  Method. She also holds certifications in TRX suspension training, Total Barre, and 200hr RYT yoga.  She loves helping clients achieve their goals including preparing and recovering from surgery, training for distance running and biking, or getting in shape for an upcoming event.  In her spare time she runs half and full marathons, bikes, and enjoys going for walks with her dogs and traveling with her husband, Seth.
